Dear Kip. Finnish is the only language in the world where singular forms and plural forms can start with another letter. Ask me about plurali. I know them all. Ask Moomingirl. For a reason which I quite don't know, she is studying Finnish. And her grammar is better than mine.

I have to admit that your question is interesting. I have been pondering it myself. Having learned English at the age of 12, my eyes tried to find all bizarre occurences of English plurals in our grammar manuals.
