By the way... here is a list of word endings which do not occur as word beginnings in a standard list of English words (list of 58000 most common): ['bb', 'bs', 'bt', 'ck', 'cs', 'ct', 'dn', 'ds', 'dt', 'ez', 'ff', 'fs', 'ft', 'fy', 'gg', 'gm', 'gs', 'hn', 'hr', 'hs', 'ht', 'ie', 'ii', 'ik', 'ip', 'ix', 'iz', 'ks', 'ky', 'lb', 'lc', 'ld', 'lf', 'lk', 'lm', 'ln', 'lp', 'ls', 'lt', 'lz', 'mm', 'mp', 'mt', 'nc', 'nk', 'nn', 'ns', 'nt', 'nx', 'pp', 'qi', 'rb', 'rc', 'rd', 'rf', 'rg', 'rk', 'rl', 'rm', 'rn', 'rp', 'rr', 'rs', 'rt', 'rx', 'ss', 'tl', 'tt', 'tz', 'ua', 'ue', 'ui', 'uo', 'ux', 'uy', 'uz', 'vs', 'wd', 'wk', 'wl', 'wn', 'ws', 'wt', 'wy', 'xi', 'xt', 'yl', 'ym', 'yn', 'yp', 'ys', 'yx', 'zy', 'zz']
And here is the subset of those endings which cannot be reversed to get a valid word start: ['bb', 'bs', 'bt', 'ck', 'ct', 'ds', 'dt', 'ff', 'fs', 'ft', 'fy', 'gg', 'gm', 'gs', 'hn', 'ii', 'ix', 'ky', 'ld', 'lm', 'ln', 'lt', 'lz', 'mm', 'mp', 'mt', 'nc', 'nn', 'nt', 'nx', 'pp', 'qi', 'rl', 'rn', 'rr', 'ss', 'tl', 'tt', 'tz', 'ui', 'ux', 'vs', 'wl', 'wn', 'wy', 'xi', 'xt', 'zy', 'zz']. Of these, the following can be reversed while still being a valid word ending: ['bb', 'ff', 'gg', 'ii', 'ix', 'lt', 'mm', 'nn', 'pp', 'rr', 'ss', 'tl', 'tt', 'xi', 'zz']
Several words you could use to stump people would then be: ebb, riff, egg, radii, prefix, cobalt, grimm, inn, lapp, err, amiss, axolotl, watt, taxi, buzz.
Welcome to WP! Interesting. The goal isn't to stump people.
