strange as I don't have that as part of my mental problems I thinks it's at healthy levels

yes indeed I had forgotten 
mainly due to the fact I could not hear 
the "celebrations" last night it was eerily quiet and I'm in the inner city .

Yeah, I like discussing politics and economics, although I'm still trying to learn more about the latter. Not a lot of people I know like actively discussing those topics, so it's nice to hear other people's thoughts on them. And yeah, I agree with your thoughts on manufacturing and "innovate or die" (also a good science motto). And "beautiful one day, Japanese the next" is plenty true here on the GC – or at least it was when I was learning Japanese back in high school.
