By Nigeria I was referring to one of the typical scams where people claim they want to buy something and overpay by cheque and ask for the difference to be returned. Often it can take several weeks for cheques drawn on foreign banks such as Nigeria to clear and are often fakes. So the money may appear in your account as being valid, you pay the difference and a few weeks later you get a nasty letter from the bank saying the cheque was a fraud and you owe them lots of money.

Anyway. I win.
