Its one of those phrases where you can't take it literally. In this case "on" means it is anywhere attached to the bus (or part of it). Its like saying "do you have money on you?" The person is probably not asking if there is cash on the person's head.

However, if all of you knew this (what I just explained above) and I couldn't tell that it was obvious you all knew about it and were just joking about stuff in this thread, than I guess I am having an aspie moment right now :wink:. (Oh its so hard to blend in to NTs :lol:)

Ok, I don't care if it's on top....as long as it's "on" the bus.

I don't get it. Doesn't "on" mean "at a higher level" or "further from the ground"? (Playing the role of a confused aspie :lol: )
