The only actor to be in both MASH the movie, and MASH the TV series was Gary Burghoff, who played Radar.

René Auberjonois, who played Father Mulcahy in the film of M*A*S*H*, later played Odo in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

The famous Italian film director, writer, and producer, Federico Fellini was married to the wonderfully gifted actress Giulietta Massina.

They were married for fifty years.

She only lived five months after his death.

They had only one child, early in their marriage, a son who only lived one month.

The three are buried together in Rimini Cemetery, in Italy.

Personally, I think that their tombstone is probably the most hideous grave marker that I have ever seen, especially for two of the most talented people that ever contributed to Italian cinema.

Fellini was a very interesting film maker. Watching his films, you might think he was cynical, but while in California USA for the Academy Awards in 1963 (his movie "8 1/2" won 2 awards) he toured Disneyland with Walt as his guide.

(Did Walt want to meet him on the chance that he could get Fellini to do some sort of work for him? Or just for the publicity? )

Contrary to the movie "Saving Mister Banks", Walt Disney was a chain smoker. He smoked so much, its said that his fingertips were hardened by the nicotine, and were quite loud when he drummed them on a table (which he did when he bored by a presentation.)

In the movie "White Zombie" Bela Lugosi didn't get paid every much. Claims range between US$500 to $900. Richard Sheffield, who was his close friend in the 1950s, reported a payment of $5,000 for White Zombie on Lugosi's tax returns.

I've always read that Bela regretted taking $500 to be in the film, as it did quite well at the box office.

Christopher Lee hated doing so many Dracula films throughout the 60s and 70s. He thought they were increasingly terrible and felt that he was essentially being blackmailed into appearing in them, being told by producers that he would be putting a lot of people out of work if he didn't.

He did, however, insist on including at least one line of dialogue from Bram Stoker's novel in each film, just so there would be some connection to the source material.

In the Fairy Godmother's factory, some workers are putting potion bottles on a conveyor belt. One of the bottles is marked "Viagra".

The Fairy Godmother in the Shrek films was voiced by Jennifer Saunders, who played Edina Monsoon in 'Absolutely Fabulous'.

Shrek was the first film to win an Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

"Absolutely Fabulous" is one of my all-time favorite shows. I think Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French are geniuses----and I ADORED Joanna Lumley and Julia Sawalha (sp?). Julia is BEYOND fabulous in "Lark Rise to Candleford"! !

Ernest Borgnine was made an honorary United States Navy Chief Petty Officer by Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Terry Scott on October 15, 2004. He (Ernie) served in the United States Navy for ten years from 1935-1945 and left the service as a Gunner's Mate 1st Class.

The sound an iPhone makes when a charging cable is plugged in can be heard in Minority Report, which was released five years before the first iPhone hit the market.

In Back to the Future 3, there is a scene where Marty is roped by Mad Dog Tannen and hung before being rescued. Unbeknownst to the crew, the rope accidentally tied around Michael J. Fox's throat during one take and actually suffocated him to the point where he passed out (as stated in his autobiography Lucky Man).

Michael J. Fox was also part of the show Leo & Me. Surprisingly, four people from the cast, including Michael J Fox, developed Parkinsons in their middle age. This prompted an investigation in 2002 to see if there were environmental factors that led to the outbreak.

To wrap it up, Michael J. Fox's middle name is Andrew and does not have a J in it at all. This came about as he registered for the screen actors guild and found a veteran already registered as Michael Fox. As he didn't like the sound of his middle name, he came up with the initial "J" as a homage to Michael J. Pollard.
