Why is "goodnight" all one word, but "good morning" is two?

Also, do you ever say "g'night", like how Aussies say "g'day"?

I talked to my Aspie friend last night and he said his next "mission" is that he wants to go see Africa. Who wants to go to Africa? (I told him to pack a couple 10-20 hazmat suits.)

Did you know, our part of Africa is malaria free? That we are very far south where the winters can be fairly severe and snow falls on the mountains?

That's where my Aspie friend wants to go is South. I'm ok with going to England with him, but I just read another thread about growing Muslim terrorists in England. What is a girl to do? (my question for the Questions Only thread.)
