How do I tell you
he controls and abuses
snow falls dark and cold

The window, wide it was
Because, the latch was broke.
The second floor as I recall
The fall, but landed safe and ran
All night, fifteen and free,
Just you and me,
No bars, no locks, no horror.
Through Salford, high rise flats,
The smell of drugs and alcohol
Are you the queen of underclass?
You knew so many people,
I never spoke, not a single word
And no one bats an eyelid
Is this the place where I belong?
Maybe for the time being,
We parted soon
Too soon to say,
Goodbye, I loved your ear rings.

Naked and cold, skin and bone,
Vulnerable, innocent, lost.
Dark city streets and condensation in smoky cars,
Underground, tinfoil and burnt out matches,
The kindness of strangers.
The all night cafe on Piccadilly
Hot chips at 3am
dirty fingers and chapped lips.
Shelter if you're lucky,
Trespass through the broken door,
Sleeping with one eye open.
The derelict pub,
watch the stairs they're broken.

Indecision
Should I?
Could I?
Sweet escape

You bore me
Fascinate me
I see your eyes
They follow
The laugh
So pure

This mustn't be
Not ready
Broken
In need of a fix

Don't fall
Not for me

The time wasn't now,
But how can this be,
you see this won't do,
Do you know It's me,
We climb form limb to limb
In dim light and dark,
The park, the ghosts speak not,
And spot the one who smiles,
For miles the sky is black,
The crack where light shone through
And you and me are doves
where love's a game for two.

Have you ever seen the rain?
feel pain, and bitter cold,
And sold what once you treasured
The pleasure's not your own,
He's blown you out, you're done with,
The myth you once believed,
And grieved in shallow waters
With thoughts as deep as graves
She saves the time that wasted,
And tasted stagnant tears
With fears of all he gave her
She wondered what she did,
And hid in icy chambers
The game has started now
And how will we know the end?
My friend please take a bow.

Thoughts bubble up
Just below the surface
The world invades
They pop
Leaving me wondering

Reaching
Grasping
In desperation
As imagination slips
Farther away
And thoughts
Of what might have been
Distract
Detract

I'm left
In confusion
Searching
For that spark of inspiration
That struck to clearly
That was whisked away
So carelessly

The world turns
While I ponder
Just what it was
I had to say
Needed to write

Clear my head
Motionless
Counting my breaths
Each heartbeat
As it thumps in my chest
Connecting
To the world around
Losing my sense of self
But gaining a new perspective

A picture forms
Rich in color
Meaning
Motion
And An urge
So familiar
Returns
To stir me into action

my aching back hurts,
my dragging ass burns.
i hate these sad words,
for how my world turns.
i'd rather be glad,
or at least neutral-
instead of half-mad,
as is usual.
heaven's nice, i hear-
up there are no fears-
eternal good cheer,
and also no tears.
until then i wait,
for final relief
high in heaven's sight,
that is my belief.

The sun was nice,
And twice the price as two,
And blue became the moon,
In tune with what it was,
Because the rain did fall'
And all but one remained
And gained all that it did'
We hid all of our findings,
In buildings made of glass,
A class of 92 in silence,
The sirens filled the air,
When there at once a vision,
The position turned and waited,
And soluted to the beggar
And lit his cigarette.

a tiny wall, I'll jump it
the tiny girl had said.
I'm strong like wind
which calls to me, I never
could be pinned.
But time it flew it dragged it blew
the detritus collected there.
Unseen, alas, the wall had turned to stone
enclosing her midair.
Steel cords, fiery bonds,
a mesh of sticky web.
A key a knife, the wings
unfold, she plans with weary tread.
