Just a random picture of a Spartan from one of the various Halo games.

I forgot I had a thread.

How do you pronounce it?

Yeah exactly like that, although I like to throw people off sometimes on how it's pronounced.

Have you heard of the Feyfolken book from the Elder Scrolls/Skyrim? It was partial inspiration for the name

Played Skyrim once on a cousin's PC. Meh.

That's actually my opinion as well, still I always thought the word Feyfolken sounded cool. Bethesda's games have been extremely watered down since Morrowind, which I've only heard about it's greatness.

I prefer action-adventure games.

I don't have a specific type of game I like to play actually. Or at least it isn't based on the game mechanics anyways. There's a combination of art style and story out there that I find favorable.

Ever played Mass Effect? Its protagonist is a bit like Starkiller.

You mean he's got a shaved head? I've played the ME games, I dunno how I feel about them now, I loved them at the time, but the ending of 3 killed it for me and I don't really think about them anymore. Plus all the forced romance in them has me put off now. ME4 might peak my interest again though.

Don't know Mass Effect. Anyone ever watch Youtube video game walkthrough videos?

I had to do it a few times, during my first playthrough of Jedi Outcast.

I'm doing walkthroughs of certain games, so that even if I will never play them, I can at least watch them being played. That way I'll know what people are talking about when they are mentioned.

It's much more fun to actually play it.
