French seems so illogical compared to English. I do find it a beautiful language but it seems to have so much redundancy in it. There are around 15 different verb forms for each action depending on who is doing it, when and what style. (I'm actually in the process of compiling a large French to English dictionary for some software I've written. Currently I've got around translations for 280,000 French words.)
