Goatee or toupee?

Goatee. Toupees look silly; but then again...

Umbrella in the rain or a big hat?

Big hat, umbrellas always either get lost or break apart. No sense of duty or decency at all.

Tropical climate or alpine climate?

Both have their attraction... but push come to shove, tropical.

Live in a little hut on a tropical island (with internet connection ) or in a big city?

Internet connection is the magic word! Big city is the last on my list.

Swimming in the pool or sea?

Sea definitely. The trouble with pools is I'm never quite sure what I'm swimming in

Swim in the shallows and ride the waves or further out?

In the shallows with the waves. Unless there's a boat right close by to pick me up when I'm ready. I'm not that strong of a swimmer.

Lie on the beach soaking up sun, or under a beach umbrella (or other shade)?

Always under a shade, don't like to feel like a fried sardine.

Oceans or smaller inner seas?

Warm oceans with deserted beaches.

Make a sand castle or collect shells?

I have to say, the Caribbean is the nicest I've been to yet.

Sea or river?

Sea; collect seashells, especially in the early morning.

Living by the seaside or in the continent/mountains?

Both have their charms, but I'd opt for the seaside. (In my mind I can hear the waves crashing onto the beach while typing this!)

Go onto a lake in a dingy or onto the sea in a small boat?

Lake in a dinghy. I love the woods and water together. And I missed, collect shells.

Woods or fields?

Woods!

Lake or sea?

Both . I love to see the early morning mist rise on a lake and drift into surrounding hills / woods. Magical atmosphere.

Sunbathe on the beach or sit under a tree?

Both ... I love the feeling of sun on my skin, but there is so much going on in the woods - birds, bugs, plants, sounds, colors.....
