norton did in a way get on my dad's nerves, (symantec version, not my closer) during browsing my dad clicked on a lin kin serach result for some adserver (u know, them annoying directories,) well norton went nuts blocking the trojan.downloader and viruses that were on the adserver making my dad alittle upset becuase ie would not respond right away when closing the window. yea i know i still use windows, but its easist for me to use and i still try to teach him things about windows vista.

When I asked the building maintenance man to fit windows closers to all the windows he took my statement literally.

I've not used Vista yet, avoiding it like the plague. It sounds like it has lots of performance and compatibility issues, so I'm sticking with XP while I can and plan to set up Linux Ubuntu (again) soon.

odd you say that, i used to get calls from windowizards (windows and door company) and thermoguard offering just that, window closers, know what i told him(last time he called too) if i wanted that, i would get one of them closers with an arm and mount it to the window frame (i to this day have not heard from either company since!! !)
