Who did Richard Burton refer to, in writing, yet, as 'the most vulgar woman I ever met'?

Did more reading on the subject....Mr. Burton wrote that he told her to her face that she was 'the most vulgar
woman he had ever met'.

He also wrote that she and her husband were quite short....'two tiny people'.

The pilot episode of TV series Combat! (1962-1967) was directed by Boris Sagal and starred Vic Morrow. Both men later died in the same way, being struck by helicopter rotor blades while shooting a film, within a year of each other. Sagal died while filming World War III (1982) and Morrow while filming Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983).

Both men also spawned famous children: Boris Sagal's daughter is Katey Sagal, known for Married with Children and Sons of Anarchy, and Morrow's daughter is Jennifer Jason Leigh (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Hitcher, Road to Perdition).

During the filming of 'Gone With The Wind' in 1938-1939, Vivian Leigh hated doing love scenes with Clark Gable....

She said that he had horrible denture breath.

Disney had such little faith in the first Pirates of the Caribbean film that they were considering releasing it direct to video. Pirate films tended to flop at the box office, and it had been been 50 years (!) since one had been a significant success. Christopher Walken was their first casting choice for Captain Jack Sparrow.

After seeing early production artwork, executives became more enthusiastic about the film and decided to increase the budget and release it theatrically. Their new casting choice for Sparrow was Matthew McConaughey.

Johnny Depp got the part practically by accident; he met with Disney executives about the possibility of doing voice work for an unrelated animated film, and when someone casually mentioned that they had a live-action pirate film in production, he begged to be involved.

Due to its violence and somewhat dark tone, it was Disney's first PG-13 film.

Johnny Depp said that he based his portrayal of Captain Sparrow on Keith Richards.

Three film versions of The Maltese Falcon were released in 1931, 1936, and 1941. All by the same studio.

And people complain about how often films are remade today.

In the zombie films of George Romero, no explanation is ever given for why the dead have suddenly come back to life. The closest we ever get to an explanation is a TV reporter in Night of the Living Dead speculating that an irradiated space probe returning from Venus may have had something to do with it.

^^ Oh, geez----I was just coming on here to post about B.B. King, and when I saw THAT, my heart sunk!! (I had to check the previous page----I had forgotten what I posted.)

Anyway, B.B. King is in Hospice Care, in his home in Las Vegas.

I am glad that he can stay in his home, rather than a facility......there is some comfort that he is in a place that he loves, with people who love him.

Timothy Dalton was approached about replacing Sean Connery as James Bond in 1969 but he declined, feeling that he was too young at just 25. He later accepted the role in 1987 at age 43.

In Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Spock says, "An ancestor of mine maintained that if you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the solution." This ancestor was Sherlock Holmes; the quote is from one of Arthur Conan Doyle's original Holmes stories. It's no coincidence that Star Trek VI was directed and co-written by Nicholas Meyer, a huge Holmes fan who made a name for himself in the 1970s by writing the popular Holmes novel The Seven-Per-Cent Solution.
