Thinking about it, I've come to the conclusion that neither sharp or blunt is the way to go; piercing is!

Ultimately the choice will not be ours. A clean painless end would be preferable though whether it is by a blunt, sharp or piercing object. Only death knows. (I've just watched the film "final destination").
