These troops are elite, well armoured, and heavily armed. They ain't cannon fodder, and the officers have personal forcefields.

Forgot to mention. I have a phase-space disruptor. Basically, I can manipulate the energy state and spatio-temporal state of your troops. So..... you lot! BURN!
