A tiel is not a keet and I like some types of ice-cream.

Cockatiel. And I dunno why people call budgies parakeets....

In America it's probably because budgies are the most common form of parakeet sold. There's an English budgie at Petco which is almost the same size, just a little smaller than, a cockatiel. Can you tell me which land was called by explorers, "Terra Psittacorum"?

Just its Outback? I thought it was the name Cook gave for the whole continent. Are there more parrots in the desert than in the coastal regions?

It was actually Matthew Flinders, so I'd assume they meant the coast. But it was because of a lot of parrots. Cockatoos, galahs, rainbow lorikeets....

For their relative size, aren't parrots generally intelligent?

To a degree, I think. I had a cockatiel, but I think he's senile now.

Similar with Petey girl. When she could see she used to sing and play, now all she does is probe for food and water and sometimes give a happy squeak but mostly sad notes now. She's really changed since she lost her sight. She used to lead the other birds in singing, but now she is quiet and just waiting to die. I miss her already.

Mine just attacks anything that moves. Over 12 years old now, if not even more.

All of my birds are like that at bedtime; they can get quite fussy if bothered at night (unless they haven't seen me in a while.)

Less expensive but less challenging. Do you have a Wii?

Are you asking me too? I don't have a Wii, but I have a PS2, a Gamecube, and a GBA with 6 PS1 games, 7 PS2 games, 3 GameCube games, and 2 GBA games.
