Always and 3ft is fine! I was brought up in England, where measurements are still in miles, feet and inches.

Oh they are? Are they in metric too though? How did I not know that?

Everyone keeps saying that only the US and Liberia or somewhere haven't adopted metric.

I love going to Canada where the measurements are "weird".

I think officially they are in metric, but roadsigns are in miles, I know my height in feet and inches, and weight in stones and lbs (I think you guys skip the 'stones' and just do in lb's). Maybe there has been more metrification in the last few years, but they are certainly hanging on to the old system
