The famous actor Gary Cooper was married to his wife 'Rocky' for 28 years, minus a three-year separation during which he lived with actress Patricia Neal.

He returned to his wife, became a Roman Catholic, died of cancer, was buried in a Catholic cemetery in Culver City, California.

When Rocky and his daughter relocated to New York, she had him exhumed and buried in a New York Catholic cemetery, Sacred Hearts.

She married a gifted and famous reconstructive plastic surgeon, and after a 20-year marriage, he died and was also buried in Sacred Hearts.

When she died, she was buried beside Cooper, not her second husband, whose grave I have not been able to find.

Die Hard was based on Roderick Thorp's novel Nothing Lasts Forever. Thorp was none too pleased with the title change. He reportedly snapped at one of the producers, "You named it after a car battery!"

That is funny!

Nothing Lasts Forever isn't as catchy, though is it? Die Hard really pops.

Nothing Lasts Forever is not only a generic title, but I've read the book, and I can't tell you what the title has to do with anything. The book is a sequel to another novel, which had an even more generic title: The Detective.

This all relates to another piece of trivia that's a favorite of mine. The Detective was filmed in the 1960s with Frank Sinatra, and when they were making Die Hard, they were contractually obligated to offer the film to Sinatra. It sounds ridiculous, but it actually made sense, because the character is older in the book, and he's saving his daughter instead of his wife. It was only after he turned it down that they rewrote the script to make it a stand-alone movie with a younger hero.

So, in an odd kind of way, some cop movie from the 60s starring Frank Sinatra was the original Die Hard. Go figure.

Dunno if this qualifies as 'HOLLYWOOD' trivia, but she was certainly a celebrity during her lifetime, and continues to fascinate.

Poking around the Internet, I just found out that Jacqueline Kennedy had a stillborn daughter in 1956.

The little girl was buried with no name, but was referred to by her mother, who hardly ever spoke of her, as 'Arabella'.

She was exhumed years later and buried beside her parents; the small metal marker simply says 'Daughter'.

I had thought that their son Patrick, who died at three days, while Kennedy was President, was the only child that

they lost.

Dermot Mulroney can be heard in Mission: Impossible III, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, and Star Trek Into Darkness, but not as an actor: he plays cello on the music scores to these films.

Jimmy Stewart was in the Air Force. He went from Private to Colonel in just 4 years! He retired a Major General.

Jacqueline Kennedy and Ethel Kennedy did NOT get along.

During the first and second seasons of Friends, every woman in America wanted the character Rachel's haircut. Many, many women went to their stylists and asked them to copy her haircut, and 'The Rachel' became a pop culture phenomenon. Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston, the actor who played Rachel, hated the haircut and has said it is the ugliest hair she has ever seen.
The haircut phenomenon was spoofed in the show when one character comments that Rachel's mom wants to be like Rachel, to which Rachel replies, "Couldn't she have just copied my haircut?"

She had a good life, and earned it...I never heard of her being mean to anyone, and that is rare in show business.

She had two of the greatest blessings life can offer: a husband who was a good man, and a son who grew up to

become not only successful, but also a good person.

R.I.P., you were a great lady.

The daughters of B.B. King are saying that they think he was murdered (poisoned). It'll be 2-3 weeks, for the results of a Toxicology Report. I thought, however, that there were poisons that didn't show-up in Toxicology Reports----so, I dunno.....
