Well, you DON'T make a habit of going around killing members of your family, do you? 8O
Anyway, it's getting hard to think of nouns starting with "para-", although "parasol" or "Paraguayan" would be okay, I suppose....

Well, no, I don't go around killing anyone. Closest I ever got to that was when selling fireworks out in the country and some random person decided to break in to the fireworks tent at 2am. I threatened to shoot them with the rifle I had with me if they didn't leave and they decided to run like a chicken, thankfully. If they had persisted I might have had to follow through with my threat, although more likely I probably would have just used the rifle as a club rather than use it to kill. I don't really like the notion of having to do such even if I had to though, but I also don't like random strangers breaking into the tent I was paid to guard either. Glad they became a chicken though.

Well, I suppose you don't mean any malice by the alteration of my username.

Sorry, I didn't realise that you were interpreting my puns on your username as possible malice. I'm a middle-aged English teacher, not a troll. There has always been a tradition in this thread of playing with words and joking with each other. Because you used to post here regularly, I assumed you were aware of that. I won't alter your username again. Jenny

Actually, I didn't really consider it so much as a possibility although the trolls have probably already picked up on it (well, those who weren't already doing such that is, as some are more creative than others and others just plagiarize from others). I probably have become less friendly of a person than I was prior to last February when the attacks on me started because it is more difficult for me to trust others now.
