I want to learn Latin someday. Hopefully in college. It seems like a really useful language, despite its lack of common use.

You could probably start with memorizing the noun declensions and first verb conjugation. Something you will quickly notice about the verb conjugation is the uncanny similarity of the present active forms to the French present active forms.

A pinch of Latin in any (high) school assignment is almost guaranteed to raise the grade by 5%. This applies even to the Canis Latinicus I sprinkle with the real Latin.
