Speaking of weather, I hate how the weather is where I live! There's never a consecutive week of sunshine! It's always sunshine for two days, and rain for the rest of the week! The ground doesn't even have time to dry up completely! 
Although it was sunny and cloudless today. Shocking weather for [subject hometown here].

But the weather in late winter is so unpredictable, it would literally be about 60 degrees (Fahrenheit) and sunny one day, then about 30 degrees and snowing the next.
No, I am not misusing the word "literally".

But I like burning weather! I grew up in Shanghai! 
About the 60 degrees, it is a relatively warm temperature in the wintertime here.
[I hope I don't need to tell you about the winter weather in Toronto.]

What a piece of twisted irony that you end up going somewhere colder and I end up going somewhere where there may not be air conditioning in the residence.

There's no air conditioning in all but two of MIT's dorms, but I won't be needing them for most of the year!
And yes, we have tunnels, but I'm not very familiar with them yet.
