The nerve! :?

Why do you always keep winning?

It's you, isn't it, who keeps sending animals to my backyard.

"Você ganha" is Portuguese for "you win", not "I win" :P. You should say "eu ganhei". And winnen is the verb "win" in German, but you forgot to conjugate it, it would be "ich gewinne". And you forgot my mother tongue

 time goes so fast! I can't believe I can speak four languages already!

Aand... Albirea, look through a blue oval that can be found in your backyard and you'll find a forest at the other side of it. I wonder what kind of sorcery is that.

Time does that, my German is not nearly as good as it used to be ¬¬. You should add "gané" to your collection, it's what we say in spanish, and you don't even need a pronoun because it comes implicit in the verb conjugation :D

Oh, gané! ;DD

*sigh* I wish I knew another language as well as I know English.
The closest language I've got is Mandarin Chinese.

Actually, Chinese is my native language, but after moving to North America, I've been forgetting it bit by bit. I still speak Chinese with my parents, though, so that's good.

Wow, Chinese =O I always rant about how hard German grammar is, but Chinese is a whole new level of difficult 8O

My English is at a high level, 108 TOEFL and C1 in the Common European Framework, I need to polish bits of it, speak it faster and learn the nuances of academic writing, but I've reached the point where my English reading skills are virtually on-par with my Spanish ones, and when reading a text in either I just don't notice the language. German is... weird. I lived one year there, and my conversational skills are good, I can make my point across and communicate with other people, but with a very flaky grammar. They understand what I mean, but I make mistakes often. And reading is a nightmare, I remember I read the two last Harry Potter books, and it was a big ordeal that was only offset because I just love those books, and I already knew what was in them anyway .

:lmao:

Oohh Shat, you're so cute, you think we actually use the word "eu" at the start of a sentence? (tou brincando)

Only 4? You have some catching up to do, engraçadinho!

On that note: ganhei!
