Does money really buy love?

Does that depend on what it is that you love?

Isn't it directly proportional to the sum of money you're willing to invest?

Is there a measurement unit for "happiness", and what's the going rate per unit?

Would a hovercraft be adequate?

How can a hovercraft measure happiness? Does happiness ensure success or does success ensure happiness?

Isn't it true that if you have a hovercraft, this whole debate is meaningless, because the only thing that matters is that you have a real, working hovercraft?

So the measurement unit of happiness is the Hovercraft (Ho) with 1 Ho = ecstatic and a milli-Ho being roughly "Meh" ?

Or we let Meh = 0 Ho, and then a negative Ho value indicates unhappiness

How many units of happiness for owning a hovercraft?

1 hovercraft = 1Ho - basically, owning a hovercraft is what we're using as our standard, and all other reasons for happiness are measured against owning a hovercraft
