Io, one of Jupiter's Galilean satellites (the four satellites of Jupiter that Galileo saw when he trained a telescope on the planet). Due to gravitic strain from Jupiter, Io is covered with sulfur volcanoes, belching orange and yellow minerals across the moon's surface (which led astronomers who saw the first pictures from the Voyager 1 flyby to dub Io the Pizza Planet). Since Io is fairly small, and doesn't have much of a gravity well itself, some of the sulfur manages to escape, forming a sort of doughnut around Jupiter in Io's orbit (this has been dubbed the Io Torus).
