Young aussie aspie has returned.

This is gonna sound lame-o, but a Pokémon RP? I reckon that could work, as long as everyone was mature regarding Pokémon battles.

M-A-T-U-R-E.

RPing is no longer flavour of the month I see.

Bugger, cos I enjoy RPing quite a bit.

If there could be a stargate/dr who combination roleplay, even better.

I've made a topic for Myspace Roleplaying Profiles, though it has 51 views and no one has responded yet. I thought for certain that more people would have such profiles here on Wrong Planet, or perhaps I'm being impatient with waiting for people to answer. If anybody could reply to that topic, I would appreciate it greatly. ^^ I spent a long time working on those profiles, and of course, I'm looking to find literate roleplayers (most of my accounts are rather inactive as people don't seem to respond to me <<) Anyway, do take a look if you have the time.

I know RPs on here don't live long, but they ARE fun while they last.

So even if they do die, I for one say we keep them up.

I play an RPG called Traveller. It is a table-top RPG with an open framework of rules that allow for original milieux, and also has a very detailed canonical history. The game rules were first laid down over 30 years ago.

The game is set about 5000 years in the future. The canon states that when humans from Earth finally made it to the stars, they found that an Empire had already staked out nearly every world worth colonizing. Even more surprising was that the beings running this Empire were humans!

Most of the action is based on simple economics and personal conflict -- tramp frieghter crews trying to turn a profit without getting shot, fried, blown up, beat up, irradiated, or exposed to the unforgiving vacuum of space.

Keyphrase: "Shotguns In Space"
Similar to: Serenity/Firefly and Outland

I would like to find a Traveller game in the Orange County, California area. With sufficient interest, I might consider refereeing a game with 4-5 adult players. RSVP?

I do reckon a RP set in space with hand-made characters would suit everyone well, as long was we were all reasonable with what ships/items we all possessed.

I miss the Gandesha one. That one rocked.

My players have four choices for their characters:

1) Hand-roll their own, following the house rules that I provide. This takes up valuable game time.

2) Select from a stack of 'orphan' characters - ones that have been abandoned by former players. This is the quickest, but may not be very satisfying for the players.

3) Select from canonical pre-generated characters. Such selections are subject to my approval and modification.

4) Bring in their own characters from other games. Such selections are also subject to my approval and modification.

I also provide players with equipment lists and opportunities. It is up to them to role-play the purchases and to keep track of their character's finances.

I googled 'Gandesha' and received a lot of returns having to do with East-Indian citizens or expatriots. Will you please provide a link to the 'Gandesha' that you mentioned?
