hmmm....I didn't even realize that you could make posts that truly had no text. I always assumed you had to at least type something...apparently not. Wonder how long I can keep this up for?

LIES! This thread is not at all pointless.

Actually, it really is. There is no sense to any of this...just a display of human greed and competitiveness. Indeed, it is a sophisticated allegory for real-life human competition. People fight and fight and fight to get on top - the most money, the most power, the most success. Yet, no matter how hard one tries, they can never hold onto it. Once you're on top, the rest of the world is targeting you, seeking to bring you down. Thus, every person who at any time claims to be on top of all others, will eventually be usurped by someone else. Nobody can be on top forever - everyone who lands on top, is eventually caught and surpassed by countless others.

So, really, when you think about it, this thread does have a point. It can serve as a great lesson and reminder in the pointlessness of competing with other humans to try to be on top. It is all pointless, because eventually, somebody will rise above you. Once that happens, you become forgotten in the lost pages of history...just like how nobody remembers who the 354th person to post in this thread was. At one time, that person was on top, ahead of all others. Now they are long forgotten, and that temporary success is meaningless. Just like the temporary success that one can attain in the real world
