Did you know this is going to sound silly because I say it so much, but I'm sure SFU would be incredibly therapeutic for someone who feels that way?

What is SFU?

... you do know I don't have a psychiatric disorder, right, and that PTSD isn't an illness?

Would you be interested to know that SFU is an acronym which refers to Six Feet Under?

Is Google correct that that is a TV show?

Do you know I understand PTSD is a reaction to adverse circumstances?

Do you know that I understand that mentally strong people without pathology could experience it?

(Please don't get upset because I'm saying this. I always feel there's some kind of future for the vast majority of people---especially if they are able to seek to lessen their disorder. Please note that when I say "seek," I don't mean that I demand success in this. There are many people who suffer when they are young, but who succeed later, with and without treatment and "seeking).

You clearly haven't seen what I have seen, haven't been through what he has been through, have you? Some people live eternal torment and do you know how hard it is to get euthanasia? A lot of people can't fathom what horrors the mind can make, don't understand how deep you can get lost in the labyrinth of insanity, like you? Did you know how sad it makes me to see people with such low empathy around? As a 7 year old boy I saw someone jump of a flat and land in front of my feet, could he be saved? He lived and did it again, months later, how sad is that? Would it surprise you that this was one of the suicides I have witnessed? Some people might have family who supports them, money to buy good therapists, live in a good country with good support, but a lot only have a life full of hatred, abuse, torment and violence, isn't that sad? And here is a man, who is mentally stable, normally happy, saying he doesn't believe in euthanasia, isn't that just silly? I don't judge, I respect, is that okay?

Do you know you're right, and that I'm sorry I didn't clarify?

Do you know that I am not "judging" at all?

Do you know that I have some pathologies myself. That I've made many stupid mistakes?

I'm sort of "stable"--but do you know I've got problems, too? Do you know I almost lost my job a few times because of my problems?

Do you know we're all here because we are frail in one way or another, and that it's OK to have different opinions as long as no one is purposely hurting or upsetting others?

Do you know....that anger doesn't educate anybody?

Do you know...if somebody doesn't understand autism....that they should be educated on it, rather than dismissed?

Do you know....that I want to learn about people?

Do you know...that I might say the wrong thing? Everybody says the wrong thing sometimes?

Do you hear voices that constantly bash you into the floor? Do you have hallucinations that make it almost impossible for you to distinguish between real and not? Do you have psychotic episodes in which you are so paranoid that you feel everyone is against you or similar extreme ways? Have you had to be institutionalized because you can't take care of yourself? Do you have extreme urges to self-harm constantly or feel things inside your body that need to come out? These are the light ones, do you understand that?

I am just explaining what this is, that's it. Just voicing my opinion, like you. Please don't misinterpret anything I say. Am calm as can be, not angry at all, sitting here with a glass of water and my dog, is that okay?

Did you know that this subject is very dear to me because I have helped so many suicidal people, people with severe mental problems of which I lost a few? So I am sorry if I speak passionately, can you accept that apologue? They just get misunderstood so often, do you understand how painful that must be?

Why does thinking that people who have mental disorders shouldn't die and that things can get better mean low empathy? Haven't many people attempted suicide but then recovered and gone on to find joy and bring good to the world?

Do you know I agree, The AP, and that in my case if I wanted to be dead I could have allowed people to kill me several times over, but it was my choice to live with the hell I endured .... and it's apparent that we are all affected differently by what we've experienced even though LLW and Kortie are both correct in their original statements?

Do you know that the above was quite eloquent in a most accessible sense....and that I agree that we are both right?
