Mwah. Well I can see the differences between some species of gulls and correctly name a few but the 'Laridae' family, with more than 100 'members', is quite a big family.. so, not really, I guess.

^^ Yaye thankee CockneyRebel, however oh dear I am very sorry as I believe that I indeedy enjoy reading happy books, however I believe that I am perhaps very slow and perhaps the rate at which I read bookies is very slow and therefore I may be considered not read many happy books.

I certainly LIKE Totoro, lovely Tomasu, and we do have several Totoro soft toys around the house, from keyring size up to about cat size, which belong to my teenage children.

I'm no expert with a sword. I've done some fencing, but I came into the game older than most (at about 15 I think) so I didn't have any opponents of similar size and skill (I was matched with either eight-year old newcomers, against whom I had a ridiculous reach advantage, or people my age who'd been going since they were toddlers, against whom I couldn't last long enough to learn too much). I very quickly became frustrated and gave it up.

I would not say I'm modest about my knowledge of that sort of stuff. I'm not even sure what you mean by "the world and the people living in it", so my claims of ignorance on the subject are clearly not fueled by any modesty but by an obvious and genuine lack of knowledge
