Granted, several such stores open up in your town. The competition is now fierce and the original store closes down. Unfortunately the other stores only give you $0.10 cents per $10 DVD game.

I wish life could be free of unexpected nasty surprises... especially in the form of letters from the tax man.

Granted, instead all nasty events are scheduled for you the moment your parents conceive you, and is given to you as soon as you are born, however your parents lose the schedule of nasty events, so they remain unexpected surprises to you since you don't know of them.




I wish I had $20 more.

Granted; you lose $100.

Granted. Your company goes bankrupt, so 'as soon as possible' is never.

I wish everybody would start washing their hands after they go to the bathroom. There's way too many disgusting people out there.

Granted, everybody washes their hands after they use the bathroom, but after not specifying immediately after they all wash their hands the day before they die after living a long unsanitary life.



I wish my phone did not become a paperweight as of midnight.

Granted; but they will never flush the toilet.

Granted. They are made of either Acapulco gold or Cuervo gold. Go figure.

Granted, the bank makes an error depositing one million dollars into your bank account and they remove it the moment you notice it. Hope you haven't spent any.

Granted, for a few hours before the fire dies out at least.



I wish I only had 3 normal length chapters to read each week for college, and not this 5+ nonsense... I only have three courses this quarter, and why should the Marketing class need 3+ huge and wordy chapters a week.

Granted. You will have the three normal-length chapters as commited--with ten long sub-chapters each.

(I had that dilemma when I was in college, and once I decide to take my master's degree, I will encounter it again.)
