Other recent posters have all identified as male or non-binary, so I guess I'm the object of the :roll: , then!

I feel very special!

Can you :cyclopsani: as well?

And I win again!

<serious mode on>
I am an older person, so forgive me if I may sound politically incorrect.
I am happy to be corrected.

Our "flea" is a biological woman, so I understand.
Hence, the use of women, plural. 8)

I'm not young either, so I understand. This isn't something that was discussed when we were young. Personally, I always try to acknowledge someone's preferred gender identity and use the appropriate pronouns. As someone who has worked with young people for many years, I know quite a few people who identify as non-binary or transgender and I have seen how upsetting it can be for them to be misgendered. A person's biological sex doesn't necessarily match their own perception of their gender. It's easy for those of us whose sex and gender match (like me) but not everyone is in that position.

FYI.
My use of "girl" was a joke, hence my use of quotation marks. :wink:

I win. 8)

You are correct, that I am.

I know some people do care about pronouns, and I totally respect that. I, however, do not care about pronouns for myself. See me as a she? Use that one. See me as a he? Use that one. See me as neither/both/something else? Use they.

Oh, and :P I win.

Especially when I've worked in infernal sweatshops, often many times per day I think of my favorite quote.
