Took me 26 seconds to find out what you meant by Geertje.. (um, Iz stupid).. but :lol:.

And yeah, you're right.. I feel very little pride concerning Holland or I'm not proud at all living in this megalomaniac sick country and even more so the city I live in.. *vomits* (Did you know that almost the highest percentage of Geertje voters live in West Brabant?)(Oh, I'm a born Noord-Hollander btw and the conception folks above the rivers have about Dutch 'southerners' is right as rain³.. like Nietzsche wrote.. equally as arrogant as stupid folks tend to be)

Sound like the stereotype of Republican voters in the USA, easily riled voters with little mind of their own. I am glad I live near Utrecht, although I too be rather live in a other Netherland - People in general seems to have lost their ability to think for themselves and seem to practice some kind of survival of the fittest strategies instead of a live and let live posture.
I miss Hollandse nuchterheid :(.

But Geertje is a populist and a southerner, so this makes sense in your quote on Nietsche
