The House(New Roleplay)
It seemed dark as she opened her eyes, and her skin burnt something terrible...but whatever had been attacking her before, seemed to have disappeared. She was only too annoyed that she had passed out...she did not to it often, but when she did, it seemed to be at the most inopportune moments.
There was a sense of safeness mingled with danger now, if her feelers were functioning properly. Sitting up carefully, she turned her head, and took in a deep breath at what she saw. Roland was there, explaining the sense of safeness, but he appeared to be facing off what she could only describe as Spiny leonines... lions. They did not appear friendly, and she found herself shaking again, to her annoyance. The burns must be as bad as they felt then.
Carefully, she braced her hands on the ground and pushed herself to her feet, reeling a little and in the process knocking into Roland from behind, though not heavily, 'ungh', slipped from her mouth as she worked on gaining a steady footing, 'sorry'

Lord Oak, the house has summoned creatures to overwhelm the Gunslinger.
That was the Missionary. He must've wandered by the area. As Wraith flew down the corrdiors, which were being lengthened by the house in order to prevent them from helping, Mr Oak decided.
"Help him. Make sure neither he or Mythra come to harm."
In the cellar, a creature with an apron, a bizarre sack of flesh for a head, and long thin blades on its arms, rushed for the creatures threatening Roland and slashed at them, roaring....

He knew the laws of physics were weak here - maybe enough for some true stunts.
As the Sekhmetians started circling he could almost see the look of glee in their eyeless sockets.
"Your gonna have fun with my kitties, Roland!"
He already remembered how much he hated Gabrielle.
"MYTHRA! RUN! THESE THINGS ARE AFTER ME AND ME ALONE!"
Turning back towards the dark beings he knew what he had to do.
"Thanatos, take the one on the right."
Then Roland bolted for the nearest wall.
Just he expected gravity was so weak he easily ran up the thing.
When he was no more then feet from the celling he jumped off and drew his guns.
"TAKE THIS YOU OVERSIZED BAG OF KITTY BITS!"
As he fell fired every round in his guns at the cat.
As each found it's mark the cat didn't even shudder.
But he realized now he was defenseless and that thing had some mighty long spines.
The thing actually grinned as it used one to nail him straight in the knee cap.
Screaming in pain he lost control of his fall and fell directly on his head - he was knocked out instantly.
Thanatos - instantly peeled off of the tiger and ran to his masters guard.
It was hot Jackal on Tiger action now.

Mythra stood back, watching nervously...no, fearfully, as her companion battled against these vicious looking creatures. His agility never ceased to amaze her, but she felt helpless, and she was not so sure he would be the victor in this instance. The animals seemed to almost have a sadistic look of glee on their faces as they came closer to him. She moved forwards, but it was too late. She watched helplessly as he fell to the ground in pain, and knocked himself out, his knee a bloody mess.
It was now her and these creatures, and she had to think fast. They were clearly solid, unlike the previous forms, but why? Hastily, she pulled out her short sword as an emergency, but intended to use her magic to ensure that not only did they perish, but also that their death would cause suffering to whoever had sent them. This was powerful magic, and she had only used it once before. She had little time. She was about to rapid focus and pull her magic to the front of her mind when one of the creatures jumped her, teeth ripping at her left arm, sharp as needles. Biting her lip, she ignored the searing pain and pushed and pushed mentally at her magic, sending it rushing into the minds of these creatures.
The jagged grip on her arm released as the first creature fell, it's eyes lifeless and white. The other was proving harder and was very close to performing a similar move on her to that it had performed on Roland...Roland...with that thought in mind, she pulled at her magic as hard as she can, strand by strand, then with a shout, threw it into the mind of the remaining Sekhmetian. The creature gave an inhuman screech before keeling over onto it's side, the strong magic being sent threefold to whoever had sent it and its companion.
Bleeding heavily, she turned back to Roland, and knelt down, placing one hand over the injured knee, and the other over his head. Mentally she began chanting and pulled from a different source within her until the air around them became filled with a hazy mist of blues and greens, tinged with a vivid scarlet. It was draining, and she was draining, but she had to do this...the wound was quite severe. She lost track of time, but finally she opened her eyes and looked. The wound had all but totally sealed up and the skin that grew afresh held a symbol...an arrow and a key.
She was not sure what Roland would think of this, but it was one potential side effect of such a powerful situation. They were now bonded...not in a romantic way, but rather in such a way that each would now be aware instantly when the other was in difficulty, each would share an understanding that had not been there before, and each would defend the other to the death if necessary. It was a relatively rare bond.
Trying to catch her breath, she bent over her knees to the ground and rest her head there, hand clutching the arm that had been injured.

Roland felt.....weird.
As if he had someone in his head.
Looking down at his knee he saw the one thing he never wanted to see - the mark of bonding.
"f**k!"
Roland was pissed
And he could hear Gabrielle laughing.
"Oh goodness, this is highly enteraining, don't you think Rolly?"
Gabrielle once again emerged from the shadows, this time with a mile-wide smile.
Bending right down on her knees she got in Roland's face.
"I'm going to have sooooo much fun with this."
Getting off her knees she turned around walked back into the shadows.
"MYTHRA! I'M GOING TO SHOT YOU AFTER I GET THIS GODDAMNED SPELL UNDONE!"

((Sorry for the powerplay, LadyCass, but need to advance the story.))
Wraith and Mr Oak swooped into the basement.
"Missionary! Red Pyramid! To me!" yelled Mr Oak to his nearest minions. He then smiled at the bemused and angry Roland, then frowned at the woman behind him. Not Mythra, who was slumped on the ground a way away, but the other one who reminded Mr Oak of an evil he had met...
"Flagg?" snarled Oak as he recognised the substance behind the form....
So, was that dark creature responsible for here, and not just the mist-bound horror of Silent Hill?

"Yes Mr.Oak, that's Flagg."
"It's a she this time and serves the Crimson Queen - the mother of the Crimson King."
"Seems fitting it should be female."
With that Roland got off his back and starting hunting for his lost revolver.
"Now where did that damn thing go?"

Shocked at the other's extreme response to the unfortunate bonding, mythra racked her brains to find a means of undoing it, since it clearly bothered Roland so greatly. She had clearly been under a false illusion that this man was somewhat of a father figure to her, not to mention her guard...now he wanted to kill her? Swallowing her hurt pride, she finally recalled something that would undo the bond, but at a high price. Whispering under her breath, she made intricate motions with her hands, weaving a web of magic, that disippated. She felt the bond snap, along with a large part of her magical abiities, which caused her to briefly fall to her knees with the shock.
She then backed away from the angry figure and turned her face away to the wall, wishing for all the world that she were back outside this wretched place again.
'Happy now?', she murmered, 'it is broken, you are free again'.

"This is a first. I have only met 'Gabrielle' once before, when she, or rather he, went under the name of Randall Flagg. It was in the American town of Silent Hill. I am not sure whether you have heard of the place, but my advice is, stay well outside its borders. I would have given the very same advice for this house, but you came before any warnings could be made. Red Pyramid, Missionary. Search the house until you find the Otherworld's interface, then report back to me, especially if you see 'Gabrielle'."
The two grotesque creatures lumbered away.
"Where was I? Oh yes. Within this house lies what could be called a dimensional interface. You, Roland, would call it a thinny. Yes, I know about the terminology of your world, Roland. But many 'thinnys' of this world act differently from the ones in yours. Some do not allow egress between worlds, but rather change the nature of the surrounding reality. While I was not born on a 'thinny', I came to live near the one that is the focal point in Silent Hill. This thinny, as well as the one in this house, they're both sentient, alive. They are parasitical entities, latching on to the nearest minds and wrenching nightmares from them. If only you saw 'Gabrielle', then it would have been a nightmare from your past. But as we all seemed to see her, then this new Flagg must be after the potential energy stored in this house. Now, Wraith, Mythra, what did you see down here?"

Remaining where she was by the wall, and not turning to look at either Roland nor Mr Oak, Mythra wrung her hands as she spoke, eyes pointed downwards towards the floor as she waited to regain some equillibrium after what she had done. Undoing bonds that had formed as a natural result of powerful magic was not recommended precisely because it had some very detrimental effects. But she had felt, in this case, that she had had no choice. Her sense of betrayal ran deep and she knew that she would be unlikely to trust the one she had viewed as her mentor again.
Breaking free of her thoughts, she replied to the question Mr Oak had posed,
'Nothing I saw was real, as far as I know... the...the tormentor...that man, he has appeared many times in my nightmares, but he is not someone I know from outside of them. The woman I saw latterly is also the product of a nightmare...a deformed and decaying version of myself. As to the last, the demon, I know nothing of him for I have not seen him before in any form. His hands burnt though', she said quietly, as she unconsciously touched the seared skin on her right shoulder.

Wraith shifted uncomfortably. "I didn't see much. The woman - Flagg, you called her? - was there. But that was it, and I only saw her briefly." She shook her head. "If she's as real as you think she is, then maybe we should be going. I don't like this room."

"Agreed. My bodyguards are searching the house for the Otherworld interface. This is merely a foreshadowing of what might happen. If the interface grows stronger, this house will be plunged into darkness. And that will be very hazardous. Not because of not being able to see, for you can still see in that Darkness, but of what that Darkness holds...."

"The beasts of the Prim may get loose if we don't stop Gabrielle's widening of the gash."
"The only choice is to venture to the center of the wound and close it."
Roland noticed he felt slightly.....empty.
Like something important was missing.

Roland was feeling empty.
For reason he felt like a complete failure.
It could only be one thing - the bond breaking.
Slowly he turned back towards Mythra.
"Mythra, what exactly did the bond breaking entail?"
