The way this game works is that someone writes in a foreign language. The next person has to guess what it is. Yes, you can use an online translator to translate your own message. No, you can't use an online translator to solve what language it is.

Here's how the points will be given.

+1 point for guessing the language correctly.
+5 points for translating the language into English correctly.
If the statement is from a novel or any other form of media, then you get +10 points for recognizing it and translating it into English.
-1 point for guessing the language incorrectly.
-5 points for attempting to translate the language into English but failing. Online translators are pretty obvious with their translations, so -5 points will be deducted if you use an online translator.

Please keep a record for how many points you recieve.

If you have any questions, PM me.

I'll start.

Ahimè! Perché il tuo nome è il modo in cui si trova? Cosa c'è in un nome? Una rosa con qualsiasi altro nome, come l'odore dolce.

Italian, translation quoted from the original source, Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet":
"O! be some other name:
What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet."

next:
"Affe tötung Affe tötung Affe darüber stücke Erdboden. Einfältige Affen! Geben sie Daumen, sie einer Keule machen und schlagen ihren Bruder herunter."

Congrats, Spudz76! You now have 16 points. I don't know a word of Italian and used Google Translate.

The language you used is German, due to the usage of the word "sie", the Germanic diacritical marks over the o's and u's, and the words beginning with capital letters that don't begin the sentence. Unfortunately, I don't speak German, and I'm clueless as to where you got the quote from.

Next:

Dlaczego musi być węże?

I'm going to go for Polish. Or a similar language, at least.

No Polish for me, I'm afraid, so I can't translate.

Good guess. It's Polish. You win one point.

The language you're using seems to be Esperanto or Portuguese. Maybe Spanish. Honestly, though, I don't have a clue what you're saying, or what language you're saying it in.
