5/10. Good intentions, but free software leaves no headroom to pay its developers so they can buy the food he's holding.

Free software is free as in freedom not free as in beer, better expressed by the french word libre. Plenty of free software developers get paid for their work, and plenty of free software projects are actually supported by companies who don't want to pay for proprietary software and want the free software developers to work on specific features for them; in addition sometimes the free software developer will get to charge companies (that use their software) for tech support.

But this misses the point of free software anyway it doesn't have to be economically sustainable because a lot of people create it just because they love it. See why this actually works and motivates people to write free software:

Oh by the way... I don't like your avatar either! jk 6/10

This must be why I earn less money than my brother, but I'm happy doing my job and he wonders why I place so little importance on immediately making a whole bunch of money.

It's full of win but honestly Ren and Stimpy always creeped me out of a bit. -2 for that. Otherwise, 8/10.

8, for a happy-looking animated elephant cartoon. i like GIFs. i am not creative enough to have a fancier avatar myself. my very basic avatar exists for my own reasons which are not immediately apparent to others.

It's a little bit too small to tell what's going on, so I'll just assume it's a group of robot horses powered by nuclear farts. 10/10

It's the Four Pretty Ponies of the Apocalypse, but your interpretation works, too.

At first I thought your avvie was a fiery Georgia O'Keefish va-jay jay , then I saw the cool cougar things off to the side. Now I *know* that's what it is. :P 10/10
