The answer I got:

Balanced Lifestyle

Motto:

"I work to live, not live to work. I want to enjoy my work, but I want to balance it with other important parts of my life."

People motivated by a Balanced Lifestyle need to feel that they have an active, fulfilling life outside of work. Although their careers may be extremely important to them, they don't want to sacrifice their personal needs for job success. In fact, they may be more productive than many other work-types, because the balance they maintain in their lives helps prevent burnout and makes them more well-rounded. These individuals seek equilibrium, and would feel frustrated if they had to choose between their personal lives and work. Their objective in seeking balance can entail quality time to spend with family and friends, or time and energy for hobbies, social pursuits, exercise, or whatever matters to them. They simply don't want their life to revolve around work. While this balance is certainly significant to most people, it is especially important to individuals with this profile. Achieving such a well-rounded way of living is more than a perk; it is one of the things that give them their drive at work. They know that their job fulfills a necessary role in their life - and other things are just as essential to their life satisfaction. Some of this need for balance can be satisfied with a flexible time schedule or through work programs aimed at promoting lifestyle balance, such as self-growth workshops, exercise rooms at work, social activities for staff, etc.

I want to see what others got as I feel a little peturbed to have done a career quiz just to have it tell me that I dont like working... :?

I don't need to do a test to know that. Although I don't like the modern conception of what 'work' means. I am working all the time, even if I don't have a job. I also try to make my work fun, and anything fun seems to not qualify as work either to a great deal of people.

Oh yeah, I will take the test tomorrow probably, it's late now  I expect I will get the result you did. I don't see what's so bad about wanting a life that has work and some not work in it? :?: Seems sensible. It's only loonies that would want anything else.

I took this quiz even though I've only had a part-time job

Yeah, that is how I feel too, I actually think though that there are many people out there who dont see fun as an essential part of work.

Many people think that I am lazy because I am not one of those hard workers you see...

I have no ambitious drive and a terrible, awful attention span, low tolerance for repetition and routine and am prone to slacking off... I do try and work hard but I try and do it for other people, as I wouldnt really want to do it for myself.

I work part time on this farm I am on, and spend 3 hours per day working in gardens... today I spent 2 hours harvesting garlic bulbs.

I hate the highly repetitive nature of the weeding, though the veggie patch is pretty cool so that is a bit of a motivator..

I was taking the test to see what motivated me, and in a way the answer I got wasnt surprising, but it made me think a bit, perhaps there is something a bit different about people who arent really ambitious in that way.

Anyway, interesting that Peko got the same as I did. Perhaps it is common for aspies to get that answer.

I am starting to wonder if this test is one of those ones which will give everyone the same answer unless they "pay to see the results." Which is surprising as I have done Queendom tests before and they have always been free. But perhaps it isnt anymore... it seems strange to me that people are all getting the same result, anyway.

I think that even if everyone gets Balanced Lifestyle, the percentage rated can still tell a lot. I got it as well, but mine was 100%, which I already knew. For me, I would assume is generational. Gen Xer's are notorious for having the, "I work to live." mentality.
