The previous poster will give a dream they had (dream job, dream bf/gf, ect.) and the next poster will say the consequences of that dream so the previous poster will anticipate it badly.

For example: I wish I was 16. Next poster: Yeah, then you get to crash a car and get a ticket.

Yes, you enjoy your relationship while the rest of the world compares your "imperfection" to her appearance and personality.

How is it Buddhist, by the way?

One Buddhist practice is to meditate on the negative qualities of ostensibly pleasant things. Which sounds a bit of a downer, but it liberates one from attachment to things. We can still enjoy them, just in a more realistic way, and without being upset when we lose them.

I dream about having a super duper expensive car.

Yes, but your friends will envy you, other people who originally discriminated against you will become superficial acquaintances that you CANNOT STAND, and you have to pay higher insurance.

I dream of bowl of spicy noodles washed down with a pint of English beer.

You will spend all night on the toilet with diarrhea.

I dream of meeting my idol, Johnny Depp.

Yes, but he's not so excited about meeting you. What if it doesn't turn out so well because everyone else likes him and steals his attention?

I dream of getting A1's on all my exams

Yes, but teachers will see your remarkable improvement and ask you to tutor other students. I don't know if that will happen, but it might.

I dream of being a thin, rich princess in my next life.
