100% YES

I watched the very first MTV video
I played Pong at Pizza Hut and stayed awake for 2 days playing Zelda
I watched SNL even when it wasn't that great, but in hindsight it actually was
I owned a boom box later a walkman and listened to heavy metal
My sister owned the dolls though, all of them
Neither coke... pepsi Actually Mtn Dew for me
Was stunned at the expression of people leaving "Full Metal Jacket" as I was entering.
I had a real Top Gun jacket and rode a crotch rocket

more like i was too early, before it all began. i am a 60s/70s person, the 80s were bogus to me.

Yep, I guess so. I'm born in 1982, so I was probably too young to really dig those things about the 80's.
