Please excuse me if there is a topic like this already, I just thought it would be fun, based off something I saw a member post in another topic. You just have to say what would happen if something the person above you mentioned happens, then make your own. Easy, right?

What would happen if the place you lived in suddenly turned into a fictional place of your choice?

There'd be fewer problems but it wouldn't be as multi-cultural.

What would happen if you had control over everything?

I’d create out of thin air a rock so big I couldn’t lift it.

What would happen if you woke up some morning and found you’re the last human left on Earth, everybody else having mysteriously disappeared?

I'd be a bit upset about it but I'd certainly enjoy most of it!

What would happen if you woke up somewhere you've never been?

I'd be scared spitless!


What if you woke up rich?

I'd get a bigger boat.

what if you woke up destitute?

I'd go to a homeless shelter.

What would happen if cats took over the world?

As far as my cat is concerned, they already have.

What would happen if dragons were real?

We'd need real Dragon Slayers.

what if a habitable planet was found close enough for a one way trip?

We'll have to repopulate the planet.

What would happen if all of Earth's waters were made of chocolate?

scuba diving would be difficult, yet tasty.

what if the clouds were made of cotton candy??

We would have one horrid, sticky mess when it rained!


What if classical music was the only music in the world?

Then it wouldn't be "classical" any more, would it. Plus, smart people would stop listening to it, because doing so would no longer distinguish them as being smart (or sophisticated, etc.).

What would happen if we were all required to speak the same language?

Every country or ethnic group on the planet would demand that THEIR language be the Chosen One!


What if internal combustion/gasoline-powered engines suddenly stopped working?

It would be much quieter outside (I hate lawn mower season)

Plus I guess a lot of people would die immediately. Yet another reason not to fly.

What would happen if the whole planet fell asleep for ten minutes at the same time?

I have a sudden image of Sleeping Beauty; everyone in the castle fell asleep when she did!

Unfortunately, if this mass narcolepsy took place, considering land, sea, and air traffic, the effects would be tragic.
