And then bump these instructions to the top!

Seeing as there are ~20 counting threads on the front page at any given time, I figure we may as well just go all the way.

Do you realise this would flood the whole subforum and kill all the other threads?

Don't think this is a good idea. By doing this you'll just clog up the forum and push all the other threads several pages back.

Of course, and I don't actually intend to do that-- but you do realize that my point is that having so many other counting threads is doing exactly that, and I do think it's a problem. It's a point I've tried to help illustrate before.

Some of them are more creative than others, but so many are just basically counting, with no spin on it or gimmick or anything. We could have 50 counting threads on the first page, and they would tend to stay there because of the nature of the "game". Anyone who wanted to play any other kind of game would have to go to page 2 or 3 usually.

Well if you have an issue with it, why not be direct? There no need for trolling / being sarcastic.

I've been direct before, as have others, posting in the mod forum etc. My goal is not to troll per se either; I'm not just trying to get a rise out of anyone in particular or upset anyone at all. Many people have raised the issue with mods and nothing was done, so what I'd like to do is persuade the forum powers that be that it would be worth coming up with some kind of a solution.

In terms of being able to find a variety of games you want to play, what's the functional difference between starting an unlimited number of un-serious counting threads and starting an unlimited number of serious counting threads? I feel that is the question. Why do we need so many counting games, if most of them are purely just counting and nothing more?
