I'll jump ahead of the gun on this, I've been writing my way to an idea that Juliette suggested a while back and I'm dying to execute it!!


The end of the walkway was just that, an end. It just stopped abruptly. A shaft of light coming from the ceiling let the light from outside shine in. Where the light landed, there was a little whats-it on the floor, shining the light that hit it. Koise walked over to it and saw that it was a bracelet. It was a simple thing, no fancy decorations apart from on the outside, where it looked like it was made of glass filled with a liquid that changed colour more often than a mood ring.
"That's a pretty abrupt end to this long walk!" Bob said, "I wonder why that is?"
"Maybe they ran out of money making it so long?" Booger suggested
"What is this?" Koise asked, fiddling with the bracelet.
"It is a bracelet." Kipo said.
"I know that! Just more specifically." Kipo wondered why, when she answered questions, that she gets this reaction sometimes.
"Maybe it's there just to look pretty?" Marilyn suggested.
"This is true." Bob said "Often decorative items have been charmed to be very appealing to others. We're lucky we didn't find a sexually-based item and we were ALL seduced..." Bob thought back to storied he had read about those. Pretty weird, if you asked him.
"Don't ask." Booger said to the others, who had heard of the story Bob found.
Does this one actually DO anything though?" Koise asked, putting it on. He twisted his wrist about a little bit.
"Well, try thinking of something." Bob asked.
"Okay." Koise thought of fire. "Nothing." he said.
"What'd you think of?"
"Fire."
"Okay, so it's not elementally charmed... try something else."
Koise thought of a handbag.
"Nothing again."
"Try something else."
Koise thought of Marilyn.
Suddenly his viewpoint changed. Instead of his normal one, he was now looking where he should have been, towards the light shaft and the ending wall.
"What the-what happened?!" Booger said
"I dunno!" Koise replied
"Aaah! What the hell?!" Marilyn exclaimed
"What?!" everyone else said.
"Koise's voice just said something in my head!!"
"I did?!" Koise said
"There he is again!" Marilyn said
"So... Koise is in your mind?" Booger asked
"I think so... hey, I'm wearing that bracelet! It seems to have turned purple!"
"Does it look good on you?" Booger asked
"Probably... Koise, say something."
"Er... hi?"
"Yup, I heard you again!"
"Interesting!" Bob said
"Scary if you ask me!" Booger said
"Can you move Marilyn yourself, Koise?"
Koise tried moving his arm up.
"Nope." he said
"He says no." Marilyn told them.
"Okay. How about thinking for yourself?"
Koise thought about pancakes. "Could you think that, Marilyn?"
'No.' she replied to Koise.
"He can't." she said to the others.
"How about going into her memories?"
Koise then thought back to the past. He could still 'see' his own, but he saw Marilyn's too, and much more vividly, like images. He still saw through Marilyn's eyes, but the thoughts were vivid enough so that they almost showed up in his sight. He saw Marilyn a few seconds ago, Marilyn in her house an hour or so ago, and he promptly ignored the bit where her parents were murdered, feeling that some things were best left private. He could also feel whatever she felt at the time, although not knowing the reason just by feeling it. Because of this, he noted the bit where Marilyn felt comforted while handing him the batteries with interest. All of this felt a lot like time travel in a way, and he found it fun.
"Yeah, I can do that!" he said, "Don't worry Marilyn, I ignored some parts."
'Thanks' she replied
"He can." Marilyn said to the others.
"Okay Koise, are you able to switch to another person?" Bob asked.
"I'll certainly try!" said Koise, having a lot of fun with all of this.

Who should Koise think to next?

EDIT: Added the bit about Koise feeling as if Marilyn's body was his, and also the reply after searching Marilyn's thoughts.

Koise thought about Scythe, and then his vision changed to where Scythe was looking at. To the others, it just appeared that the bracelet changed from Marilyn's wrist to Scythe's. The bracelet's glass liquid then faded from purple to a dark shade of grey.
"Hey." Koise said
"Oh great, he's in MY head." Scythe said.
Koise took this opportunity to search to her memory to get to know her better. Scythe's personality wasn't anything like Marilyn's, it was full of loathing and disinterest in nearly everything in general. Because of this Koise asked for her permission before looking into her memories.
"Do you mind if I look into your memories?"
'There's NO WAY you're looking in there."
"Not even a tiny peek?"
'NO.'
"Please?"
'NO.'

Should Koise look in anyway?
A) Yes
B) No
C) Doesn't matter, Scythe has taken the bracelet off before he got a chance to decide

Hmmm.
She's an untrustworthy character, so for his own safety, perhaps he should look into her memories, but that would be an inexcusable breach of privacy. However, she is merely a character in a story, so perhaps if it happens without anyone controlling it, or in such a way that Scythe doesn't know...

In a fleeting moment, Koise took a quick peek inside. He didn't exactly like what he saw. All of the memories weren't very pleasant, and any that were usually had Scythe feeling bored. He saw her in the path they had walked down, her at the meeting talking to Marilyn, which Koise skimmed over, he saw her cutting the end of her tail off, and he saw her looking at Marilyn, but Marilyn looked at least one year old. 'Wow,' Koise thought, 'so they met before and never knew?' He wanted to go back to Marilyn's mind and see if she remembered that too. But he moved on and saw violent memories of Scythe being kicked by her dad on whilst on the floor. Koise immediately bailed out of it. He breathed heavily. It sounds illogical for a spirit-of-sorts to breath heavily, but Koise did.
'You went in, didn't you?' Scythe asked.
'Err...'
'Great.' Scythe said with much loathing.
'So, how do I get out?' Koise asked
"Koise wants to know how to get out." Scythe said to Bob
"Hmm, lets see, how to get out..." Bob searched his mind for how to do that exactly. "Try thinking of home." he suggested. Koise did that. "Nothing."
"Nothing." Scythe said.
"Huh, okay, uhh... how about taking the bracelet off?"
Scythe reached over to her wrist and took the bracelet off.




Nothing happened... sort of.

Scythe blinked for a few seconds, and looked around.
"Did it work?" she asked.
"I don't think so..." she said again.
"What th-?" Marilyn said
"What?" Scythe asked.
Koise felt normal, he felt physical again. But there was something different.
"Koise, you there?"
"Yeah." Scythe said.
"Scythe, don't, put the bracelet on." Scythe did so. "Koise, try thinking of yourself."
"Okay." Scythe said. Koise thought of himself. Still nothing happened.
"Didn't work." Koise said.
"Scythe, stop that, you're not helping."
"I'm not being annoying!" Scythe complained.
"Yes you are! You're doing the thing's Koise is supposed to be doing!"
"No she's not!" Scythe said, "I am!"
"Alright, TIME OUT!!" Booger yelled, putting his hands together to form a T. "Alright, Scythe, are you there?"
"Yeah." she said.
"And Koise, are you?"
"Yup." he said. But then he realized it. That wasn't his voice. It was Scythe's. He had shared control over Scythe's body with her.

"So, you're still in Scythe's body?" Bob asked
"Of course he is!" Scythe said, annoyed.
"And Koise can share her body and stuff?"
"I think I can..." Scythe said, but with Koise at the helm.
"Can you get into her memory still?" Koise thought back. All he got were his own.
"Nah, I can't." Koise said.
"This is totally weird." Marilyn said
"Totally?!" Scythe said, thoroughly ticked off, "I don't WANT him in there!! I want him out RIGHT NOW!!"
"I don't know how!" Bob said "I've run out of ideas!"
"WHAT!?!" Scythe couldn't believe it. This was the worst thing she could ever have imagined happening next to having the same thing with Marilyn.
"We'd have to go back to my place, I've got a few books on this sort of situation." Bob said
"Well let's get there NOW." Scythe said, losing less and less patience. "I'm private property."
"Is this what it's like to be Schizophrenic?" Koise asked
"How am I supposed to know?!" Scythe said "Probably..."

Confusing or what?

Thanks c_s! I've always figured this is how Gollum works. Also, I like playing the idea that, technically, Scythe is Schizophrenic at the moment! It's also great 'teaming' the two up. Sure to cause a ruckus!
