I'm 5% eating disordered - probably don't have one. They didn't have any questions about forgetting to eat or not knowing when you're hungry, however.

(And I left the calories question blank because I have no clue how many calories are in anything at all that I eat.)

Uh-oh! There is a chance that you could develop an eating disorder sometime in the near future, if you're not already on your way to one. The good news is, it's not too late for you. Much of the survey indicated that you have a desire for health as well as some healthy habits. What you need now is to learn moderation and balance. You don't need to starve or binge to be pretty and in control. Seek out some caring friends for support, and embark upon a healthy lifestyle.

I have had an eating disorder in the past (diagnosed as bulimic and then Eating Disorder NOS) but I have been completely recovered for over four years now. I'm a healthy weight, I eat proper meals and I'm happy with my weight. I occasionally skip a meal if I'm absorbed in something, but I always make up for it at the next meal. I don't think my eating is disordered at all.

You probably scored higher based on some of your past behavior.

After careful consideration, you are.......6% eating disordered.
Luckily for you, your scores show that you are probably not suffering from an eating disorder. And that's good news! Eating disorders are not glamourous, cool or a new lifestyle. They are nothing. They won't make you pretty or popular, and will leave you skeletal and bald. Good thing your health is still in tact. Take a health course and learn to love your body. It's healthy. That rocks!

I have some issues with the test.
1. I don't eat breakfast so the bits about meals always confuse me. Food is food so I eat anything at any time of the day or night.
2. I usually eat about twice a day.
3. My taste in food runs towards the ethnic: Chinese, Japanese, Thai, East & West Indian, etc, so the choices in the test do not compute.
4. Why the test stop at 140Lbs+. Was it designed for short adolescents?

Yes, that is possible.

I imagine it is aimed at women :) Of course men do get eating disorders, and that would be taken into account in a diagnostic situation but not on a quiz like this.

I'm a woman and I'm around 190 and not at all fat. (I am fairly tall however, around 5'8 I think.) I think the weights are a bit screwy, unless they're only interested in whether you're underweight.

I'm an extremely picky eater & I don't cook so I pig-out when I have opportunity too. Also this quiz ask about taking medication to increase metabolism but it doesn't ask about medication side-effects.

After careful consideration, you are.......14% eating disordered.
