Tromsø would be a good spot and is 1 149 km or 714 miles away. Norway is a small but long country. You should be able to see northern lights in both Canada and Alaska. Just remember that they’re unpredictable. Nice pics here http://luxeadventuretraveler.com/northern-lights/

^^ I read your article----I know what you mean, now, about "unpredictable". I thought one could go to see them, at a certain time of year, and they were always there. I wouldn't want to just see green ones----or, white / gray----either.

Oh, to be on that bridge!!

^^ Whoops----obviously I forgot to post the word: "Waterfalls"! !

Skil, do you mind if we skip "X", "Y", and "Z" on your thread, like we do on all the other "A to Z" threads?

I'm gonna put an "A"----but, by-ALL-means, if you don't like it, change it back!!

No, northern lights aren't that well behaved, unfortunately.

I have a real soft spot for waterfalls.... (maybe everyone does?)

Not at all. X, Y and Z are hard, so they should be optional, like they are in every other A-Z game. I think I should even add it to the rules in my OP.

It might be, sorta, an ASDer thing----like, we seem to either love water, or HATE it!! Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with "water", per se----but, that the "motion" is hypnotizing.

Hmm... Maybe, but I like the sounds of water too, brooklets, rivers, ocean surf... I find them very relaxing.

Looking forward to seeing that, Krabo. You know, it's too bad that we have to stop at 'z' when there are still 3 more letters of the alphabet to go
