What is the strangest dream you've ever had.

I had a dream in anime, and I don't watch anime. (I didn't even know the style was called anime)

Within a month of the reoccuring dream I was told that the family member is infact dying. Odd huh.

I have this re-occurring dream that I can fly but not in the normal sense of the word. It's always in my hometown in various neighborhoods and schools and I'm trying to prove that I can jump really high. I take a running start and jump, at the apex of the jump my stomach gets that roller-coaster feeling and I start to float away. I always manage to grab on to a power line or something and hold on until the floating sensation dissipates. I've had this dream at least once a week since I was 10 years old.

I dreamed of an Aunt who had actually passed away a month ago. But in the dream, I was attending the funeral, and when I went up to pay my respects, they had arranged her corpse on the stairs leading up to the pews!

Lots of very interesting ...end of the world dreams...me scavanging through garbage for supplies(not so weird given being homeless before)but bombs going off, running and screaming in the streets and me hiding and looking for supplies. They are actually rather entertaining but some fear,so not exactly "fun".

I dreamed that I discovered this really strange websites with all these Aspies posting about their experiences and that I became obsessed and spent hours reading and posting on it.

Weird, huh?

Very odd, considering that to dream of death is supposed to = birth and vice versa.

The bone in my left forearm kept popping out of the skin so I had to duct tape it to keep it inside. It kept popping out and a missile flew by and took off my head. I had that dream really long ago.

I cant remember most of it, but i had a weird dream a few nights ago concerning Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children the other night. I had been perusing DVD's at a video rental store and happened to come across it. Even though I had seen it before, I was half tempted to pick it up again, it's such a good movie.

EDIT: What i meant to say was, i found FFVII: AC in the DVD store, and i had the dream about it that night. I wasn't dreaming about finding it there.

Usually I wake up knowing that I've dreamt something -- usually something incoherent and random -- but I seem to forget exactly what the dream was about mere moments before my eyes open. From what I've read, this is how our "system" is supposed to work.

But there's a special kind of dream that always "sticks out" and I can recall it very vividly even years after. I believe they're called lucid dreams, and the main thing about them is that you're somehow "awake and aware" inside the dream: You seem to vividly "experience" what you dream, all the while knowing that it is a dream. A rare, strange yet thrilling experience to say the least...!

On one occation I dreamed about climbing up some girder mast, causing it to first sway off to a side because of my weight, then "swiping" back, hurling me through the air, across the football fields of a local stadium, and ... then I realized this would be a harsh "landing", so I decided to wake up from the dream before impact. The view over the town from the apex of my "flight" was neat, though... :D

On another occation I dreamed I went to the local mall on bicycle along with a then-friend of mine. After the visit at the mall, my bike had been stolen, but hey, this is just a dream; I knew that in reality my bike was safely parked back home in our garage, so "no worries mate!"...

A few nights ago I had a dream where I went to see Cats live, and during the overture the cats kept trying to get people to dance, but they wouldn't. One of them (a weird brown one who isn't even in the show) came up to me and started dancing with me, and I spun her and I think we started to tango. :P

The day after my cat Megan was put to sleep(She had Feline Leukemia) , I dreamed that my mom's boyfriend dug her up and took her to the vet. I then went back to bed. When I woke up,(In-dream), I walked out to the frountroom and everyone was sitting down, and then Megan came up to me and put her paws on my legs. I started crying and petting her saying "I knew you would be ok!" Then I woke up. I looked outside the window to see if it actually happened...it didn't. I was depressed the rest of the day. It felt so real though... I never had a dream like that before...

Maybe your cat came to you in a dream to comfort you. That has happened to me with a cat that died.

I went on a trip to England and wound up in the hospital. Roger Bannister came to visit me.
