In this game, I'll ask you to name a Number One hit on the pop music charts...Either the " main " one (On the USA since sometime in 1958, the Hot 100 in Billboard, that was meant to sum up several different singles charts of which I'd rank the sheer Sales-bases one the highest, I guess.) or such " specialty " ones as R&B, Country, Adult Contemporary (" Lighter " pop music.), etcetera. I'll assume, unless you say otherwise, that you are citing the main pop chart in your country, Americans America, Brits the U.K. Canadians there, etc. You can cite elsewhere but say which elsewhere you're citing likewise if you're citing something other than the " main " pop chart. Also, citing pre-the 1958 launcing of the Hot 100 is fine .
