Some questions, like the first one, I simply didn't understand...
Quote:
1. Sally likes 225 but not 224; she likes 900 but not 800; she likes 144 but not 145. Which does she like:
() 1600
() 1700

at first I thought it was based on the numbers being divisible by nine but that wasn't right since neither answer would work. -shrug- Apparently I guessed wrong.

#6 I also got wrong because I wasn't paying attention :) Looking at it again it's obvious.

#14 could be valid for more than one answer, as far as I can tell, and there's no clue as to what criteria you're expected to use. I picked the first one.

You scored 16!

Ah yes, tests I'm actually good at. Low memory requirement, low random fact knowledge (except for a scant math base... which I have) but high in pattern recognition.

If there is one thing I'm good at, it's noticing patterns. It augments my crappy memory... but doesn't appear to be much use in day to day life....

She doesn't like even numbers. I had the same problem. I tend to over scrutenize things to the point that I fail timed tests.

I got a 16 out of 17.

I totally guessed on the 7-8-27-?-125-216 pattern, and apparently I guessed wrong.
Since it's bothering me now, can someone PM me with the answer?!?? :)

i am ret*d. i took it fast, which i now see was a backup plan, so i could console myself by blaming failure on the fact that i did not really look at the questions carefully, but i was obviously lying to myself, because when it said i scored a 13, i was so crushed. CRUSHED! seriously, i am ret*d.

I scored 17/17, but I chose a random answer on question #14, since english is not my first langage and I had no idea what an "elk" is... I'll check its meaning on Wiktionary!
