I remember Alex being the first to welcome me in my "I'm new" thread. And Jason Larsen always said "I hope things improve with you soon" even when he couldn't read your whole post or thread in The Haven. I used to talk to depressed people more but now I hardly do.


I remember when my account was hacked twice mysteriously, I was really laid into and scapegoated on zOMG before they switched to Alex because they had a better excuse to pick on him, Richardbenson and Ahayes kept getting banned and unbanned, MADDuck argued with MrMark about his avatar, Starbuline and Soph got banned together and kept coming back and coming back, Username88 called Richardbenson an oxygen thief after he and I had a misunderstanding, MADDuck asked me every day where Username88 was and if I'd heard from him yet, because this was when he first went missing, Username and I kept perseverating on the forums about how we wanted to be together and had to figure something out, Quatermass flaunted his superior vocabulary, Alex seemed different in all the videos of hi (sometimes totally NT and sometimes totally autistic), Aradford kept doing and saying interesting but totally true, and hilarious, things, I was shy at first to talk to Brittany2907 but then just did it and be became friends, Cultus_Diabolus and Aradford PMed me of their own accord and that's how I made friends with them, WhiteRaven and Wsmac took it upon themselves to try to make friends with me (but I never did get to talk to them much), Zarathustra and Kitsy were stirring things up with Autism Speaks and CockneyRebel had in her sig that it didn't speak for her, I remember a big debate about antidepressants and Strapples rising to the status of known member fast, jumping right into the games and making friends in the games. Then he PMed me lots about his board, my username on it, he transferred my profile from WP to there, he was really enthusiastic, he was trying to get me engaged. There are at least 6 threads about the Judge Rotenberg Center.


This is my favorite board, the best I've been to; so much happens here. It's right up there with Flyertalk. I think FT might have more people and be more active but I don't fly a lot so I don't have anything to say there!

I remember a long string of private messages about the Holocaust between Ana54 and I. . .

I remember a debate about Ayn Rand with AwesomelyGlorious that was stimulating but nonhostile. . .

I remember engaging in NT-bashing once and instantly regretting it. . .

I remember when my dad hacked my account and found a post I had made entitled "I
cannot earn my father's love." He started being nicer to me after that. . .

I remember overpowering delight when I realized my "bird name" would change as I made more posts. . .

I remember, when........

I was more well known on the boards.

when I actually had things to say.

when I could spend two hours on the boards and possibly had made a difference.

I remember when many of the members left and formed a different forum

...when the Off the Wall thread didn't exist.

...when there was no Haven section either.

...when some people just suddenly became spammers.

...and when the site got hacked.

Things were a lot different back then.

I remember when I was intimidated by MADDuck but now they're best friends. I thought he was a military snob, until he started that YAY I'm DEPRESSED! thread and we became friends in it; I was going to make an excuse to PM him but he beat me to it, showing me his myspace where his age is 37, then 38, but he says he's 35!


I remember ShadesOfMe PMing me after people started speculating about my age on zOMG, to ask how old I was, and she was excited about going to the Aspie school but then it was a letdown; they treated them like all-around slow poeple.


I remember reading username88's thread about how he was suffering, and I made myself identify with him, and told him I identified with him and not to be shy to PM me, because I knew he might be shy. He PMed me and within 10 minutes of long PMs he hasd told me I seemed perfect for him, and he seemed perfect for me too!

You didn't mention me in all of that discussion - I pmed you - I even sent you a Christmas message! Shall I start pming you some more or do you want to just be ignored?

I remember when I quite liked CockneyRebel.
I remember when I first started pming Tequila.
I remember my chai ti latte thread.
I remember when I was more into my blog.

I remember the Christmas message and only now do I remember that it was you that sent it!


I remember looking at all those headshots of Starbuline and how it showed some of what she was wearing and I was curious about what her whole wardrobe looked like.


I remember Mademoiselle_Cafeine popping in and out and thinking her bedroom window grate was made of metal but it was actually nylon string, and Who_Am_I has a window grate exactly like it in her room.


I remember The_Machine1 resigning as a mod because he didn't agree with a rule, Calandale going from mod to banned, Ahayes and Sopho getting hotheaded about Alex's mentioning of Starbuline, Kilroy and Richardbenson getting mad at me for my comments in the thread commemorating Starbuline, many people commenting on Alex's yellow shoes, knowing that Alex's girlfriend was AS just by looking at her, Brittany2907's love-hate or like-dislike relationship wit her mother, Smelena's "spoiling" of her three AS sons, thinking Smelena was AS because in her avatar she looked like an Aspie to me and she was so empathetic of her kids and posted a wierd post in MADDuck's depression thread, I remember Username88's picture of himself in the mirror holding an envelope with "USERNAME88 IS NOT A SICK f**k" on it...


I remember wondering why Smelena has that name; Helen, or Helena, changed to Smelena?


I remember Sopho being the first to answer one of my posts when I came back to WP after months away, I remember TheMachine1 remembering me from over a year before and how he joked in his "1001 Thrifty Ideas" thread about how anyone who wants to save money should marry me...


I remember my conversations with Alex trailing off almost awkwardly...

I never thought of Username88 as being a dangerous person on here - I actually thought he was quite nice. :/ I knew that Calandale used foul language a lot - but I didn't know he was banned!

I remember talking with many, many different people on here - arguing, sharing my opinions, being friends, breaking up. The things that make us human in other words.

Mightyzebra, where did you get that UN88 was dangerous?? He was great and didn't seem dangerous to me.


I remember Ahayes obsessing aobut freezing himself to death, two others asking what the easiest way to die was, Quatermass saying he was diagnosed by Tony Atwood, Syzygyish saying he would live in a drain if he had to but just wanted to get away from his parents, and telling me over and over to open an online bank account, to talk to him when I'm depressed, to test my PH, to stop drinking milk, and to try to meditate rather than looking for stimulation, but he really understands...

I remember my avatar dilemma, being greeted by a few people for the first time, meeting some good people such as Kilroy, Soph, and GreenBlue, the feud between Ragtime and Soph (which I might have accidentally started), having fun with Raph522 in the Random Discussions, and giving and receiving PMs from some people.

I remember when the Haven didn't exist, along with the Off The Wall forum.

I remember when Cockney Rebel made 10,000 posts back in March. (I was at post #223 doing my Prime numbers thing.)
I think CR and Quatermass were to the first to congratulate me on 1000 posts, and of course Tim Tex was the first to welcome
me to WrongPlanet.

I remember Starbuline's kindness and interest in Russia and the movie Lilya 4 Ever, with actress Oksana Ashankina.

I remember how nice CockneyRebel has been right from the start.

I remember that at first I wouldn't even give my first name because I was so paranoid; then I left the board and a year later Irulan still remembered that I had put Anastacia for my first name and said she could have sworn my name was Anastasia, and the name she chose during her confirmation was Anastazja...


I remember Alex's self-cnscious expressions in the photos of him...


I remember how MADDuck sounded so happy and energetic in his "I'm depressed" thread.


I remember how Username88 felt bad about some of his traits and wondered if all Aspies were like that, and he felt that if they were he was part of a sh***y group and if they weren't he was the s**t person in the group... he was really depresseda nd got worse and worse and said he would stop posting and then he did...


I remember how 9CatMom, Starbuline, Sopho, and some others would take any opportunity to talk about their cats!


KingdomOfRats saying "am" instead of "I" or "me"...


Me and username88 joking and talking about getting married and choosing Icarus as the best man...


Icarus recommending Gwenevyn as a bridesmaid...


Greenblue always PMing me every day we were both on there, asking how I was doing...
