Knee socks are better than no socks IMO, at least with enclosed shoes. I used to wear them as part of my high school uniform, or when I was playing sports.

Funny you say that.

It occurred to me today that it was summer and maybe I should wear shorts?
I hadn't worn any in years and didn't even know if I owned a pair.
I usually do sundresses or lightweight leggings when it's hot.
I found that I own two pair and I'm wearing the lycra ones now.
Mission failed. Never again.

Continental.
