Fanasty (Spelling?) RP (No bloody gory stuff though)

This is my first roleplay, so tell me if I'm doing something wrong

The first setting (Is there more) is in a large rainforest. All the trees can speak (and are thousands of years old) and some of the animals do.
Fighting's allowed, but not too much, and NO GORY stuff
Here's what you should say for your first post, though you can extend if you want to

Name: Ivy Lane
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Species: Half Faerie, Half Elf
Land: Treehouse in the Sligne Tree (The biggest tree in the forest - only for the most intelligent of creatures)
Occupation: Imp Researcher
Magic: Earth with random fire bursts. It's not all that strong - it's just enough to successfully do her research, but not enough to defend herself against dangerous creatures
Background: She was abandoned by her elf father (Fire element), and her faerie mother (Earth) raised her alone. This is unusual in their hometown of Lian (A snobby upclass magic realm), and so they were social pariahs. She's socially awkward because of this, and so she studders whenever she's spoken to.
Strengths: Smart, has extreme speed, she has beauty (like Heather Kuzmich), and she's kind
Weaknesses: Awkward, too trusting, and doesn't have very good magic powers.

Oh yeah looks are important too

Ivy has bright green eyes, long wavy brown hair, she's tall (though she's shorter then most faeries due to her elf father, she's taller then most other human-like creatures in the forest)

Land: Oj-nir, land destroyed in battle

Occupation: Wanders during the day, drinks the blood of evil people at night

Magic: Can channel elements into weapon and turn it into a weapon of that element

Background: Unknown, other than being a vampire for over 1300 years

Strength: Intelligent, can destroy anything he hits with the elemental weapon if used properly, though a vampire helps those who are mistreated by others

Weakness: Can be too trusting, powers are less than half during the day.

What do you do in a RP after you introduce the characters anyways? (I'm so naive)

Hmm, I don't know either.

We'll find out eventually *googles*

I think we just make a random story with our characters

She watches in awe as the red imps zip though the night air. Seemingly taunting her, Ivy sees only beauty. They don't bite her like they do other creatures - they trust her.
Suddenly they all run off, and all she sees is a pale face (your cue Social)

I see Ivy sitting there and collapse from lack of nutrition.

Necro does, he hasn't had blood for days and is feeling faint.

Umm, this is awkard, they're both fainting.

Okay, the senerio switches

Ivy rushes over, worried. "Are you okay Sir? Wake u-"
She sees the blood stains on his neck and his sharp fangs, and steps back. "A Vam...Vampire? Will he kill me if he wakes up? But what if he's not immortal and dies because of me?"
She shook his body, and his eyes fluttered open. Then he spoke.

"Who are you mortal, what are you doing here?"

Necro tries to stand but collapses again.
