You Are An Atheist

Image

God? No thanks. You're not buying into any religion.
They're all bunk to you. You rather focus on what you know is true.
You may be a passive non-believer or a rabid atheist activist.
But one thing is for sure... no one's going to make you go to church!

Are You an Atheist, Agnostic or a Believer?

Without taking the test, I believe there must be some greater power, but something science can explain most everything.

i went through that test and i am also atheist. i just didn't understand why it was so complicated.

here is a test that can provide the same info with only one question:

what are you?
(a) Atheist
(b) Agnostic
(c) Believer

Because some people don't understand the differences between agnostics and atheists.
BTW, I don't mean me; I know what they mean. :P

Agnostic Jew. I hold Jewish beliefs and values but don't participate in religious practices. I believe that there's something greater than us (there HAS to be...where did that one atom that set off the big bang come from?) but I'm not sure what form it takes, and whether or not it's benevolent (this is something I struggle with the most).

But the test, like most of these kind of things, is completely pathetic.

I played around with answers that would be consistent with agnosticism and it gave atheist for the answer.

I never suggested this was some kind of scientific test or anything.
This isn't exactly a serious forum.

Agnostic, apparently. Which fits quite well.

I'm not a subscriber to any fixed religion (although I have done my best to collect some varied texts from certain belief systems, in the hope that I can one day peruse them and learn something), but I do think there's more to the universe than is visible with my own two eyes.

Someone responded that you could provide the same info with one question and you said that some people wouldn't understand the difference between agnosticism and atheism so this test could help. I was merely pointing out that to the contrary, this test actually obfuscates the matter further.

I never said the test could help. I was just pointing out that, with just the question, 'are you atheist, agnostic or believer', some woul not know which to answer. I didn't mess around trying to work out how accurate it was. I would have thought it would be obvious to msot people that that site wasn't going to provide them with the most accurate answer though. My response about some people not knowing the different between atheist and agnostic, wasn't about the test I posted, it was to the one tomamil posted.
