Have you have ever noticed, that when you are talking about positive things, the number 4 is always better than the number 3.

Your right, 4 is better because 3 is considered as 3rd rate, and 4th is thankfully out of the spotlight

Dang it. You just proved me wrong. I didn't think it would be that easy to counter my view, but if we're talking about say, placing in the Olympics, its better to be 3rd than 4th isn't it

Well, odd numbers are generally seen as negative, while even numbers are generally seen as positive. I'm not sure why this is. Plus, the numbers 3 and 7 are used in fairy tales a lot, 3 little pigs, 7 dwarfs, etc. So maybe that has something to do with it.
